The BlueWalker 3 satellite was fully deployed, making it the “largest-ever commercial communications array in low Earth orbit,” at 693 square feet, according to AST Space Mobile.
The satellite is designed to “communicate directly with cellular devices via 3GPP standard frequencies at 5G speeds,” According to AST Space mobile.
